With 956 runners signed up, entries for the 2011 Up & Running Guy Fawkes 10 are now CLOSED.
We will NOT be accepting entries on the day.
The final confirmed list of entrants incl.number allocation are available at uk results on the following link:

As previously advised, all numbers must be collected on the morning of the race from the HQ in Ripley Village Hall. This will be signposted from the car park and in the village. The Number Collection desks will be open from 08.30. Please ensure you arrive in good time to collect your number before 10.15, at which time you need to muster in the car park ready to be guided to the start at 10.30.
There will be 5 Number Collection desks signed as follows:
A-C, D-H, I-M, N-S, T-Z
Simply remember what letter your surname starts with, and head to the appropriate desk. You give us your name and date of birth. We give you your race number. Easy!
A No. Transfer/Queries Desk is also available in the village hall.
With the last runners expected to complete the course by approx 12.30, we expect to be ready to declare the Results around 1pm. The ceremony will take place in the Village Hall, so please do stay on for that. There will be plenty of hot drinks and refreshments to revive you, as well as the chance for a welcome massage whilst you are waiting!
Best of luck in your final preparations for our race from all at Nidd Valley Road Runners.
See you Sunday!
The Guy Fawkes 10 road race takes place the first weekend of November in Ripley, North Yorkshire. An undulating course through Nidderdale, finishing in the grounds of Ripley Castle. Further details of the race available at http://sites.google.com/site/niddbeta2/

Entries Close Tomorrow!
With entries closing tomorrow (7pm Thurs 3rd Nov), there are still a very small number of final places remaining for this year's event. We always see a last day surge, so please don't be one of the disappointed runners who misses out.
No entries on the day will be handled or accepted! Number transfers and any entry detail queries can be made at the Help Desk in the vilage hall.
Don't forget to arrive in Ripley in good time to collect your number. The collection desks will be open from 08.30, and we will require all runners to muster in the village car park by 10.15.
Your race number has space on the back to make us aware of any medical conditions you may have. Please use it! We hope you are hail and hearty, but if you feel at all unwell on the morning of the race, we advise you not to run.
The weather forecast for Sunday currently suggests sunshine and showers. As ever in this part of the world, it's best to come equipped for all conditions. Trust us - we run here all the time!
Don't Forget! There's still time to book a pre or post race massage with our good friends at Guardian Angel Fitness. See earlier post for details.
Catering News - We are delighted that village hall race day refreshments this year will be provided by The Lime Tree, a popular cafe/deli based in Harrogate. A full range of hot and cold drinks will be available along with a selection of tempting sweet treats, ideal for an energy boost before the race or as a welcome pick-me-up after your run. A mouthwatering selection of homemade soups will also be available to tickle your tastebuds!
Ripley Castle Tea Rooms and the Boar's Head Hotel are also available in the village for those seeking a more formal dining experience.
As ever, please keep checking back to this page for any late news or race day information.
